Flashing v78 With Jungle problem...no PortIO available?

Okay, so im trying to flash my Hitachi v78 with jungle 1.67.
In the video tut from you guys I see that he selects the portIO box to communicate with the drive. However mine is permanently greyed out. It wont let me select it. I have already installed the PortIO drivers manually for windows vista so i dont believe that is it.
For some reason it will go into mode B but still will not be recognized as you can see in my screen shot.
How do i get jungle to let me chose portIO?

Do you have a via card? Looks to me like your using an onboard port. Im not quite sure, but I think portIO is only available if you are using a via card. (For HIT's at least)

I appreciate your quick response man. Yea its an onboard sata port.
If i don't need portIO then how do i get the drive to show up in the drop down box to the right? Like i said it goes into mode B and im sure it's in mode B because it takes double tapping the eject button to open or close.

Try hitting refresh if your drive isnt detected right away.

No luck
Right when i start Jungle it says "no components found during enumeration"
So it isnt recognizing it from the start.

Have you tried dumping even though it doesn't assign the drive a letter? After you get to mode b try reading the drive.
You may need to use slax.

Thanks for your response but the only thing that worked was after i put the drive into mode B i had to go into my device manager and click "scan for hardware changes" then hit refresh in jungleflasher. Then chose my drive on the top right and it worked.
After that it flashed in seconds.
I didnt need to use portIO because I'm using oboard sata. However this may prove useful for anyone with the same question as me.
