i was banned on 11-04-09 1 of my 360s....not sure how i got banned but i hacked my gamer score up i play backups but i havent played any games before the release....not sure how my 360 got detected. i had the 1.6 firmware for the lite-on drive....also i herd if m$ catches u hacking your game score higher they would just set it back to 0 not sure if this is true

yeah. they are banning people that hacked gamerscore

shit i have another 360 with the hacked gamer score i cant find a way to put it back to the original score i had or i can get a new gamertag

I don't think you can make your gamerscore less, I am guessing that it must bestored on M$ servers.

Out of curiosity, may I ask what satisfaction you get from hacking your gamerscore? Can't see the logic behind it myself.

people must be eating paint chips when they ask why they got banned when they know they did something totally "bad word" up.

well i havent played on my 360 for a while so thats y i boost up my gamer score i get much respect from people on live with my gamer score hacked.........it doesnt matter anyways im going to buy another arcade also we all dont know how i got banned until someone get proofed i got banned cause of hacking my gamer score ill believe them until now no 1 knows what m$ is doing

I really dont understand the logic behind cheating your gamerscore coz the only person your cheating is yourself, Honestly it really baffles me why people do this, I would not be able to live with myself knowing I hadnt earned. I like to play a game and I use the acheivements as a reference to getting my moneys worth, well my times worth too. Its like I would look at my gamerscore and think " Well thats not worth Jack so all this time im putting in I aint seeing any benefit " I mean its not like you just play for fun otherwise you wouldnt be bozzed about gamerscore if that was the case.

i wasnt thinking of the consaqenses at the time for boosting my gamer score up (if thats the reason i got banned) no 1 knows y i got banned but its for people who gonna boost there gamer score up dont do it maybe its the reason i gotten banned i dunno but its the past ill move on

If you were banned for GT hacking, your console shouldn't be banned, only your gamertag...

So if your console is banned from live, then they didn't ban you for your gamer score, and your GT probably still works fine.

yes my daughter console is banned she can still use her gamertag is it ok to use the same gamertag or make up a new 1

Then we know it wasn't the gamerscore.
