Robin Hoods Playground

Hi all,

I recently flashed my BenQ Xbox360 with the latest Ixtreme firmware (downloaded from Xbins), but it seems it has caused me nothing but problems. I put in Borderlands and the xbox boots up tries to load the disc and then goes to a big Xbox 360 Logo on a white background and stays there. So I tried an older rip of Fallout 3 and it still works flawlessly as do my older games. But here is where I am stumped. My batman game that worked before no longer works. I am guessing my xbox no longer plays wave 3 and 4 games. After some research I see that AGBX360 needs updating to fully support wave 4. I tried the activate ISO disc and that doesnt work either. I am starting to wonder if I done a bad flash, but if it was a bad flash surely nothing would load at all right?

Try flashing the drive again and see what happens

Thanks for the reply DJShauny, I am not too keen on having to go through all that again, as it never wrote the firmware properly at the first attempt last time. Although I have flashed around 7 Xbox's in my day I have never had it go wrong and am not too sure what to do if this does happen.
Anyhow I was doing a little more research today and found a thread with someone with similar problems as me. But this guy wanted some firmware for his Benq that can play anything regardless if its patched properly or wave X as being banned from Live wasnt an issue. I am not banned yet but am willing to take the risk with an older firmware that reads anything as I have played online once or twice for the whole year and am wasting money on the Live subscription really.

So my question to you is Ixtreme 1.41 non stealth the firmware that will read anything you throw at the 360? As I dont mind getting banned at this point and dont want have to open my 360 again everytime a new wave comes out.

the new firmware allows the benq drive to read wave 4 games which is what all new games is surfacing with and the old firmware doesn't.

just read your original post and it looks like it really is a bad flash. make sure you're loading up the 1.61 firmware and attack it again and see what happens. don't be so quick to give. . .
