alot of people i know got banned today november 6th it looks like they are scanning for modded firmware i havent got banned yet i have a benq with 1.61 and havent been banned yet alot of people have and its not because of bad iso rips there scanning for modded firmware!!!!!! i have proof.

..and I was playing Fallout 3(Point Lookout addon) just the night before.

I don't download games off the internet, I always direct rip what I intend to play. I verify each copy, despite this fact. The only even remotely questionable thing I ever played was Dynasty Tactics Gundam 2 or whatever, many months ago.

I don't play demos, I haven't touched any new games since Wolfenstein. I haven't even seen a Wave 4 game yet.

And yet my console is down for the count.

I find it funny, personally, and don't mind too much other than not being able to finish Fallout 3. The addons apparently have to connect with Marketplace to work?

I do, however, wish I understood -how- M$ is fingering people now.

my bother has a modded xbox that he only plays original games on cause he has 2 xboxs and the one that he play original games on got banned

Why is it modded if he doesnt intend to play backup games??

come on duh if his other xbox get banned he would have that to fall back on this isnt hard to see duh plus go over to 360mods.net
they are saying thatpeople are getting banned for hacked firmware that xbox 360 has banned over 20 million xbox 360 already for modded firmware and will continue to do it till chrismas is over peroid it time to flash your original firmware back on your console before u get banned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. you just proved a point, they are banning people with hacked firmware so why have it on the console if he only plays originals on

2. how do you know that 360mods are giving legit info, knowone and i mean KNOWONE knows how long the wave will go on for.

yah my buddy just got hit yesterday hes got a benq latest FW abgx said all good he got banned trying to play an original i should say while trying to connect to xbl with an original said he hadnt played a copied game in weeks any ideas

The only way cofree will know how long the wave is gunna go on for is if he works for microsoft, he might be the boss around here but when it comes to ban waves he knows as much as we do about them, correct me if im wrong.

I live in the Grimsby area of NE Lincs, and in the last 24 hours no of 22 consoles banned including mine, mostly with ix1.6 and Lite-on drives ?????

Ban Hammer got me. I don't play any downloaded content, but I still got it. I would say that no one is safe from this go round of bans! I have only checked one of my consoles this morning, but it wasn't pretty.

I was watching the chat all night and c4eva said "he's been testing all the drives.

He still says the firmware is undetectable.

Microsoft more than likely recorded all the people using bad game
rips, or played an early release, and kept a list.

And then they started the ban wave from that list all at once.

So calm down the sky is'nt falling ,also I don't want to put a plug to another website but I found one that allows you to connect to the internet without going on xbox's server and paying. you go on to another free server with your xbox and play against people using the free server. I think this is huge so let me know if I can list the website with the info we all need to switch to it if we want to play a modded console online to be completely safe. This will give microsoft the finger like never before

Id like to no the website please my little boy is gutted he cant go online with left 4 dead anymore.
