latest orginal c.o.d game and ix 1.61 is it safe

hi,guys i bought an orginal copy of call of duty the latest one,i have a benq drive flashed with 1.61 is it safe on line,can they detect my firmware or is it the copy games they can detect as i dont want banned,as there is a lot being banned,any thoughts on will i be safe enough?cheers
