I would like to get help from you all, since this was the place who helped me flash my xbox the first time with the videos Last night I tried to flash my benq drive back to its original FW using iprep 8.8 and putting my BenOFW,bin into the backup under my serial. when it prompted what file to W to the drive I typed in the BenOFW.bin it when through the 4 steps followed by the /C: prompt which after watching your tutorials meant it was a success, I put the original game in the drive and tried playing in which it didnt read the disc and told me to the game in a xbox 360 console same goes for a burned disc, in which it just pops up with the xbox360 logo. I searched these forums for help, I dont think jungleflasher works because im using onboard sata straight to the 360 (the 360 drive is being powered by a spare 360 that also uses a benq drive). Now im kind of sitting here with an xbox im trying to give a friend that doesnt do anything :$

Well if a backup just goes to the xbox 360 screen, then after a moment it should go back to dashboard, that means you no longer have any ixtreme on the drive.

The fact that it will not play originals means the key is bad. Try a couple other originals it could be that the laser is going bad...

Go on the usb flash drive, and backup your OFW.

Your going to need to check the key on your benq to see if its good or not... Just read it in iPrep, then when it shows the key, look at it make sure its good..

I actually just had a brain fart it took me until now to relize. When i got the xbox it was already modded one day out of the box by someone else, then I received it from a friend...so i actually dont have the ORIGINAL firmware just the firmware from the last mod :$ im retarded sorry...

My new question is, I have this other BenQ drive it was modded out of the box by ME, I have the original firmware backed-up can I used this drive in my system (the other console is bricked)?

Well if you cannot find the dvd key, and if you dump the drive and you see the key is bad, then you have nothing more than a heavy dvd player.

With your other system, you have the key, so you can take that key and put it in any drive, but that key will not work anywhere but the xbox you got it from.

Ok so basically I cant use the other drive's OFW key on my xbox? and basically I cant restore my drive to the OFW since I dont have the original key just the 1.51's key?
