Flashing back to original firmware
I am sure this has been posted on here before but I can not find it anywhere........is it possible to flash a lite on drive back to the original firmware? If you can could someone post a link for a tutorial on it or just give a brief explanation. Thanks.

I think you cant put the lite on back to original firmware. If I am correct, thats the only drive you cant put the OFW back in.
I hope somebody corrects me on that.

What that means is when we dump the drive, we are not actually dumping it... We are simply extracting the info we need from it (the key and identity strings)HaGGardSmurf wrote:there is no true original fw for the lite-on
So what that means is there is nothing to restore it to...

man that sucks I was really hoping to get my lite on back to the original firmware so I can have a better chance on surving this ban hammer and maybe just flashing it again when M$ calms down or C4eva gets this new firmware out.

Re: Flashing back to original firmware
Restoring doesnt seem to help, I was banned after restoring a console that hadn't seen live or even a game disk in probably 3 weeks. It was also a spoof, so that could have been part of the problem. The bottom line is if your console has/is modded you run the risk of being banned.
