Hey guys, I flashed my friend's xbox 4 weeks ago. He plays online every day, and I am pretty sure he downloads games

He did not get banned. and he was playing online every single day.

So yesterday, I said. F*** it. Turned my xbox on live( it had been off live since august), 1 hour later. BAN!

I have a Lite-on 7series on 1.6 firmware

and He has a Hitachi drive on 1.51. We were both playing MW2

is he just lucky? or is there a reason why he didn't get banned?

I flashed it myself and I didn't do anything different.

@edit My MW2 was original and he's was a backup

Luck.

I restored a console of mine, and one of a friend of mine, both benq's both flashed by me, we were both playing retail copys of MW 2 online, and I was banned, he was not banned for another 3 days... My console also hadn't been used in about a month prior where as his was used like every day.

It's starting to look like M$ is just banning at random from a list of known modded consoles. They are probably just saving your friend for later.

I think you've got it. They knew for a long time and even though whatever they are seeing, even if it's legit... BAN mutha f***ka!
