thanks cofree for the reply, when i try to install the portio through add hardware and i get to the point of 'locate file' it only allows me to search for a .inf file. the file type box is grayed out and cannot be changed. the .dll file cannot be recognized. i have windows xp pro 2002 sp2 netframe 3.5, fresh install. any ideas would be appreciated
