Computers Problem!! HELP!

Hey guys, yesterday I successfully installed OS X on my PC. I dont really like it, but i am using a MAC at work and I want to get used to work on the OS X.
Anyways. Since there is no driver for my graphics card. I have to manually edit my resolution. I was able to do it and I changed it to 1280x1024x32
What does the 32 stand for? I want to change my resolution to 1400x900 but I need the last number of the three.
Can anyone help me?
