Wave 5 video file
Wave 5 video file
Okay, so I have been unable to find the wave 5 video file anywhere, and it is too large for abgx to allow a download of it. I burn only from originals, but do so without a Kreon drive, hence I am not able to pull the files out myself (Nor do I have a board that supports the xbox drive). For everyone out there the wave 5 video file is called video_D80Bf8B6.iso Please PM me a link and don't post here.

Re: Wave 5 video file
Yeah, I have hunted the internet, torrents, xbins, and infact created this website account just for finding this Video_D80BF8B6.iso file and it is NO WHERE!! I don't know how everyone is obtaining this file. The only use I know of it is for patching Left 4 Dead 2's wave 5 video.
Re: Wave 5 video file
I don't know. It's starting to look like a bad idea to. Some are speculating that the wave5 part contains a list of banned console, so this could in theory be used to ban and cripple your console without it connecting to live. If you already have a banned console, you should patch to wave4. I guess if you REALLY need that file, you can extract it from the L4D2 disc yourself. Maybe....

Re: Wave 5 video file
Well I can confirm that this update doesn't ban anyone. I have played a stealth patched MF2 on live, along with several older waved games using a hitachi 1.51. I have also updated the NXE from the L4D2 original disk and played MF2 since and have not been affected (don't think it's a fluke...) I will probably look into downgrading the wave to wave 4 and see how it runs or find a way to exctract the video.iso of the original disk while i still have it.

Re: Wave 5 video file
Thank you very much for the help Maverick214, but sadly, I don't have a premium account and that is the only way to download this file in particular. Is there any other web sites that have this file posted for download? When I just googled L4 Patch, i didn't get anything special... What does this L4 Patch do?
Re: Wave 5 video file
You don't need a premium account to download it. I just dlded and checked the file- it gives me the following error, which leads me to believe this is the incorrect video file for wave 5, and is instead the wave 4 video file:Huffdaddy0808 wrote:Thank you very much for the help Maverick214, but sadly, I don't have a premium account and that is the only way to download this file in particular. The quest for a good file continues... To reply to an earlier post- xbins doesn't host any video wave files.
Re: Wave 5 video file
C'mon guys someone out there has the wave 5 video file, or the resources to grab it off the lfd2 game disc. It contains systemupdate 8507, and is the newest file. I guess I could patch it with a wave 4 video file, but I can't seem to figure out how to do this, since abgx won't verify it correctly....
