yhh im sure that will happen too lol i havent heared anything about it in a long time now, its like people have forgoten about it lol well its time will come and i hope that time is real soon

yea that is what it means .
but
you can rebuild your iso with xbc v2.9 or abgx360
it will make a non-split-vid iso into a split-vid

If you pay attention to the note it says, the backups need split-vid TO BE SAFE for LT.
Also if you been following the development of the firmware i believe they specified that the firmware will not do any kind of checks on the backup before running it. That means it will run any backup. You will be responsible of making your backups safe for Live.

Summary: When using LT, make sure you put split-vid on your backups before going online or you will most likely be banned, again.

ok cofree, let me get this right. if i run my existing iso through abgx 1.0.2 it will create the split vid i need to reburn my backup and will be m$ safe w/new LT fw. one more Q, do i check or uncheck the 'Trust SSv2 angles"??????????

I would leave that checked. ABGX will add SplitVid if you have Autofix set to level 3. There is no 'safe', btw.

at least ive read the same thing
its my understanding that its not going to have the stealth checks built in the firmware
all the responsibility is going to be on the person doing the game dump
to make sure it is done right
and you will need to have it dumped with split-vid
it my understanding that the firmware guys are having to make the firmware as close to the orig as possible

one last thing
There is not SAFE for live
there never has been
Its been as safe as the guys could make it
That is a big difference.

At this point
I think its a new game
we will flash and see how it goes
im sure there will be fixes to the firmware and so on
if you think back to the beginning there was firmware updates all the time
fixing one thing or another

also guys
you do understand
that they will be no 0800 firmware built in the firmware . (ive always hated that)
you will have to come up with a way to dump your games some other way.

I just went on team jungles twitter page, they say the ixtreme LT is COMPLETE! anytime soon we will be flashing LT to our drives now

Yeah ur right they are saying its now been made and in final testing stages. So hopefully it shouldnt be 2 long

I read somewhere else that they are going to release it after xmas, since they are "supposedly" making some money off of it by selling a pre-xmas/pre-official release....dont believe me.. i just read this on some other forums.

? I have always used abgx level 3 when backing up my originals so does that mean they are ready for the new firmware or do they still have to be redone over again with the new abgx letting abgx completely run the whole process all the way through the video check that it checks at the end?
