Robin Hoods Playground

Hi,

I have a modded Xbox360 console with BenQ dvd drive. I bought it from a shop, so I do not know what modification has been done. I'm not gg Xbox LIVE, just wanna continue playing those burned discs on my console.

Recently, can't play new titles like Modern Warfare 2, assassin's creed 2. Is the firmware outdated?
Please help and do post links to the files or something. I'm not very good in these stuff.

you need to use the activate disk before you play the game.

just the activation disk? Saw the video by CoFree. Can i burn into a single layer disk? or does it only work with the dual layer disc?

Sorry about all the qs. Do i need to upgrade to iXtreme v1.6? btw, I dun really knw wat that is.

You can upgrade to iXtreme 1.61 for your drive, if it is indeed a BenQ.
This upgrade will allow you to play the particular titles(Wave 4) you spoke of without the activate.iso boot disc.

Until the upgrade is done, you will need to run that boot disc every time you want to play a Wave 4 game.

oh i made a mistake. It's a liteon drive, they look so similar on the outside. Haha
So I guessed the only solution is active.iso.

when burning activate iso with imgburn,i came upon a problem.imgburn wouldnt finalise the disc,and i thought i had coastered 3 dvd+r dl verbs.but i tested in console and they all worked even tho disc didnt finalise..if you happen upon this problem,dont worry,it will work

Had exactly the same problem but yip they all work. Only thought i'd wasted 2 until i tried it on the off chance. Solved it eventually by using the activate.iso out of the benq rar file instead of the liteon one(turns out they're all the same for liteons/benqs etc) and it finalised straight away so i dont know if it was something to do with the liteon one.

You could also use run those iso's through PPF-O-Matic and patch it as a wave 3. I have been doing it to all my new wave 4+ games since my box got banned and my drive is only flashed with IEX 1.51. Pretty easy to use the program and you dont have to use an activate disc everytime you want to play a wave 4 game.

The activate.rar i d/l from the downloads page of the website is the same for all drives?

Sorry, do we have to extract b4 burning it? or just burn the .rar file onto the disc.
