No matter what i try, after a format on my pc, i cannot get xbc to install no matter what i try........some ocx or somethin missing.......any ideas, or links to appropriate driverpack?

have you got the updates for windows yet
if not get them.
you have tried the xbc v2.5 with the installer right.

thanx for the reply Cofree........totally up to date, also, does any1 know if a pioneer DVD-RW DVR-112 can be flashed/etc for dumping ?

no 'fraid not, just the usual few (have a look at Textbook's Manual to see exactly which ones) there are quite a few posts about it here as well...
