Liteon 74 flashed successfully but will not play anything!

Guys...flashed tons of liteons before, but for some reason this time something is really screwed. I used iprep to flash the drive, everything went successfully and pulled the key 10 times. I have tried flashing 3 different liteon drives with the same key but none work in the xbox. Says "play dvd" or "open tray". After pulling the dummy.bin file from the backups folder on my flash drive and loading it in JF...JF says the dummy.bin may be corrupted and to fix the bar code stuff or something? I tried correcting this by filling in the info on the pcb board and drive cover, but still nothing. One thing I notice is that the key has a different Hardware version than the cover shows. Key showing "DVD key found @ 0xA030" but top of cover says "A0A1"? Also when I go to repair the dummy.bin file the barcode is 1 digit off? Now when I'm filling in the barcode and pcb info to repair the dummy.bin file do I use the original drives info or the one I'm about to flash? I've been using the original. Please help!

Hi there mate, the one digit missing of the barcode is meant to be a space, try that if you need any further help then just give me a shout!

No there isn't a digit missing...just the last digit of the barcode for the dummy.bin file is a 0 and the barcode on the top of the actual drive is a 9...all the other numbers match up. But does that really have anything to do with the flash...would it not work if that information was not correct?

You do not have the correct key. Where did you get this drive?

Rebuilding the dummy.bin will not do anything with your key.

got from microsoft after sending it in for repair. How would I get the wrong key after iprep extracted the same key 10times?

That'd be the key. Looks good... Im not sure what is going on here, the only explanation for multiple drives in the same console with the same key being unable to play anything = bad key.

F*%* I bet it is the key from the last Liteon 74 I flashed! It also might have something to do with Microsoft replacing just the drive for the repair?

You may want to change the key to all 0's/F's and send it back into M$ and complain that you got the console back and it didnt play any 360 or xbox 1 games.

Dale did it successfully, after a HDD failure mid flash.

Thanks man for all the replies...I think I might just do that...but the last one I sent in came back with the letter saying why they didn't fix it, I was positive I covered all my tracks, but this sounds like a good idea. Thanks again.
