i dont think theres a problem with disk-drive (or flash), tested with another xbox and it was fully working (even if it had wrong key, i could open/close it and play even dvd-movies).. looks like theres something wrong with xbox maybe sata port has freezed somehow @motherboard or something like that...

well last time i seen this it was a bad key but as CoFree said ur key looks fine. i guess it had wrong flash or spoof. even with bad key, drive was fully operational with another xbox. damn with this xbox, had successfully flashed many firends xboxes without problems and now cant get my own first x...

tested it with another xbox, didnt flash firmware, but drive was working, xbox was not flashing green light and open/close button worked ok, think it even plays dvd's without real key.

sad thing is that this is totally new xbox played 0hours

Hi, finally after screwed up original drive (Liteon83850c) i got a new benq...with benq ixtreme-1.61 and it is spoofed as lite-on, with original liteon key.. ..now xbox is just flashing green light and drive open/close button is not working.. looks like it freezed @ vendor mode, i can even get it to...

tested it with another computer just to be sure... and still nothing, also power cycled with i-o-erase (didnt do that before). it's possible i used erase command with benq, but it still wrote that new flash into it and died after that. well i think ill order another benq and give another round with ...

Did it before with ICH9 , now did it again with VIA VT6421 and sitll didnt get FF72 status or smth like that.. i guess ill have to buy another drive?

xbox did shutdown, right when jungfleflasher was ereasing it, and i coulnt bring life back on it.. even with that Iprep009 method. so i decided to buy a new one. I quess its called ICH8? asus p5b motherboard with Intel P965 chipset . successfully flashed 2 drives with that pc. (benq, hitachi(?)) and everything was fine with that one after JF erease crashed it.

Have a same problem with same drive, happened same way. have been working around 1.5days with this problem with no solution.
