I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I am nub at 360 modding. I wanted to know if I can use iprep from booting with a cd or a slave hard drive for that matter. My hard drive is a SATA drive would that cause any problems when plugging in the SATA 360 dvd drive? thanks for your help.

By far the easiest method to use is with a USB flash, but you can do it with a floppy disk and I believe a few people have done it with a CD (do a search on NTFS4DOS...)

When it comes to flashing, especially with Iprep make sure you have nothing else plugged into sany sata ports. This has veen known to cause problems with Iprep creating your hacked firmware after dumping...

Before you start, make sure you've done your reading and research. Textbook's tutorial prtetty much covers everything for all the drives...
