playing a game,now asking to update?

i was playing a game "the incredible hulk" and after while it stoped and asked "yes to upgrade" or "no to upgrade"
and it does not let me played anymore,,

im not connected to net because i dont play xbox live.

is there anything i need to do?

Its generally considered safe to take the game updates. They are mostly just updates for bug fixes. Now console updates is something to wait around and see whats up if your console is modded.

my console is modded,,and i dont play xbox live,,so if i go to say yes will it affect the firmware what i have inside?

It should be fine to take the update. It won't affect the firmware at all.

if you dont have a cat5 cable plugged in it should be a game update .i have not heard of a system update that has been released
