Re: Cant Burn Backups
that depends on what burner and what media your using...
if it's an older burner, try and find a firmware update for it, as newer discs media ID may not be on an old FW.
Give us some details of your set up, I'm sure the guys will help out more from there.

hmmm, looks like your burner to me....
try getting a firmware update from the manufacturer. Other than that, i'd go for a pioneer 112 or 115. One other thing you can do, but I doubt it'll work, is to make sure IMAPI CD Burning service is turned off in Windows Services...

Re: Cant Burn Backups
I'm going with burner on this too. Try burning a file below 4.7 gigs. If it will burn it then you have your answer. Anything above roughly this size will take a double layer burner and that will tell you that maybe "duel" just means cd's and dvd's instead of "duel layer burner". Good luck!

Re: Cant Burn Backups
Are you trying to burn the iso from an external USB HDD or Flash drive? It looks the problem is the drive containing the iso is formatted to FAT32. FAT32 partitions have a 4GB single file limit, you won't be able to do anything with a file over 4GB's on those partitions. NTFS supports files over 4GB's, and is the standard file system for Windows. If the iso is on an external drive formatted to FAT32, try transferring it your primary HDD, assuming it is running NTFS. You can check the file system of your C or primary HDD in Windows through Start-->My Computer-->click on C or your primary partition and it will tell you under details in the bottom left corner in the screen. If your primary HDD is NTFS, transfer the file to your main Hard Drive and try burning with ImgBurn from there.
