Should I update my 360??

Post by Syrus »

I recently flashed my XBOX and I was able to get hold of a game from my friend (Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Vegas 2). When I try to play this game it says I need to update my Xbox otherwise I wont be able to play the game. Now I wanted to find out if I update my xbox would it prevent me from playing my own backup copies of my games. I dont want to update it and then find out that I cant play my burned games.

Can anyone help please.

At this point in time it's not. We don't know of anyone that has been banned for taking an update with a flashed box. That's not saying it can't happen. The best thing to do though is not play downloaded games. If you play a game make sure its one you personally ripped or if you borrow it, make sure they ripped it right!
