Get a dump (or read) of the fw and open it with fw toolbox found here download/file.php?id=138" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . It will tell you the rom version and what fw is installed on it.

here is the guide on how to flash benq drive, if you want to update it then just use iprep usb to dump and make hacked firmware. follow the guide and you should be fine, if you are still unsure then do ask us questions.

what types of disks are these, originals, backups ? if they are backups then how did u make them. did you stealth patch them or are they without. it could be a failing laser too, but only way to find out is what firmware is installed on the drive or what kind of backup has been made as it may be a bad dump of the game asswell.
