Hmm confused

Bought another 360 today this is now my 4th (the others are still alive i just like having them all over the house lol) and this one has the falcon chip but im slightly confused as why the HDD is slightly different the edging isn't chrome(btw all my 360's apart from 1 are pro/premium consoles) and the top HDD metal plate on top is completely seated differently i can only assume it allows more air in as the new plates dont over lap the ridge but anyone got a thought on why they have removed the chrome makes the HDD look rather shite all grey.

i have many 360 myself.
all of mine have the chrome strip around the side.
ill have to look into that some.

I can't remember exactly when it was, but there was a time that MS stopped putting the chrome piece on the HDD. I have two HDD's. The one that came with my first 360 that has the trim and the other one that didn't have the trim. I'm thinking it was about the time that they came out with the 120 GB hdd's.
