game backups

Hi Guys

Im a very new user to this content, and require as much help as possible im not the sharpest tool in the box so please bare up with me, i am trying to make some backups on my pc i shall explaine my situation i have a stand alone pc with no sata card or port on it i have a TDK DL Drive in the machine, i am using the hotswap method and WX RIPPER I seem to be able to rip the iso image no problem but when using DVD Muliter on browseing for the image its no prob but when you open image it pops a box up saying perculer size file, i carry on doing the the process and do the auto fix but when i go back and open my image file it comes up no check in box for iextreme compatible ???? does this matter guys ?? after this process i create the dvd file and then not quite sure of what to do help help help i dont wanna get banned you see thanks for taking time to read my post thatnks in advance stuart

hi, i read whatve uve said and i lost up few times but read this very closely as this will help. also if you are planning to play your games online then i wouldnt recomment wxripper way. you should look into kreon drives.

i have done all this and still get the errors and no check in the iextreme box in dvd mulier
any ideas man does the drive need to be a sata one

no, it can be ide asswell as i sometimes use my drive for the rip, and it is a ide. it doesnt matter which ever drive it is but should have a dual layer support. what size dvd are you using. make sure it is bigger than the game.

Hey man, I don't do the hotswap method, but I just wanted to reiterate what Parminder said in his first post. It is not a good idea to play hotswapped games online even if the pass all the stealth checks!

I'm not telling you what to do but I did want to make sure you understand that there us a far better chance of getting banned from Live with hotswapped disks than ones done with a kreon drive.

thanks guys maybe i should buy them rather than copy them myself but dont no anyone who does them you see what do i need to do Kreon copys ???? any ideas chaps stu

there are some games that are not in the data base and will not stealth path correctly.even if they will stealth patch part way.

to do a back up with a sh-d162c kreon dvd drive.ist you need a sh-d162c drive (or a compatible drive) that is flash with kreon v100 firmware.

this drive will not burn your games it is just for dumping them.you will need a DL burner of some kind for that.
you in stall it in you computer or a usb enclosures and use it to dump the game with xbox backup creator v2.8

thanks guys ill invest in that drive and hook it up in a usb inclosure i think good work chaps thanks so much for the help really good of you i wont get banned on live doing it this way then lads

just bought a kreon drive hope this will help me guys lol im pretty thick where all this is concerned

well man there is no 100% guarantee on not getting banned.
if you make your backup right that is the best you can do to not get banned.
