Good Rock/Metal Bands ?

anyway got any bands i should check out ?

i need something new...


i would like to think some of you could recommend some good stuff, i'll listen to anything that's good enough so don't hesitate.

It depends how much metal you can handle. Most of what I like isn't mainstream, but still good. Try 1)Shadows Fall 2) In Flames 3) Demons and Wizards 4) Age of Silence ( I think this is their name) 5)Opeth. Those are some really good heavy metal bands. I like it when the singer actually sings instead of growls like satan, but there is some of both in them. Hope you enjoy them.

Metal is certainly not my primary genre, however it is hard to go wrong with System of a Down, Ramstein, or Metallica when the mood strikes. Then again, everyone has heard of those bands lol.

I like most of that. Try Sikth as well, and Ted Maul.

The mainstream metal age has been and gone (or any decent stuff anyway, RATM have just reformed though). Things are going softer again on the surface... It'll come back again at some point though
