xbc and xbox 1 games

Post by Digital Menace »

i know i've been asking too many questions lately, but oh well lol.

anyway i was wondering does xbc rip everygame to an exact size ?

it seems every game either xbox 1 or 360 rips to 7.29 gb or around there.

now i also am thinking that every xbox 1 game can't be that size and i know they aren't all dual layer right ?

so does xbc add data to normal xbox games to make them dual layer ? like to be around 7+ gb or something ?

since that's what they all come out to it seems, i know all 360 games are dl and are around that size too.

just curious on all this, maybe you guys know.

All programs that rip games for the 360 come out to around the same size. Even xbox1 games. They do add extra padding where its needed. But even xbox1 games were dual layer a lot of the time. It's just that the xbox1 was totally owned and we were able to run unsigned code on the xbox1, so we only needed the actual game files for the xbox1. Thats why we have to have dual layers for the 360. We need the whole disk and not just the game files.
