Sorry if I'm lagging here, but is this the new solution for flashing the LiteOn drive? Will we be needing to buy a 360 Xtractor Tool to dump the key? Then will the only way to be able to flash the drive be to spoof it to a BenQ or Samsung first and then flash? Or is there still talk (or hope) on the horizon of a conventional software flash for the LiteOn?

No there is more than 1 way to dump the key (360 xtractor tool or max232 adapter) - currently there is no iXtreme flash for the lite-on but the firmware is being worked on.
If you want to dump the key & mod your box straight away you will have to obtain a BenQ drive, inject the key & spoof the drive.
As far as i'm aware the Hits & Sams are not yet safe to spoof as a lite-on....

exactly - or wait for ixtreme hack for lite-on.... depends on your needs really
if u have a box that urgently needs modding then u have the "spoof option" // if you don't need to mod a lite-on system then some patience is all that is required

ya i've seen it in your tutorial videos before and would come in handy on the 0079, but after the 6th one you get used to the triple eject to close the drive...lol
I was just curious if it was even possible without it or if i would need to get one when they come out to be able to pull the key at all?
