hello,
i was wondering, if i flash my hitachi 79fl now, would i be able to restore my drive back to the original firmware?
so when the new update/new dashboard comes out i can flash my drive back to normal so m$ wont know I’ve tampered with it.

Also what firmware do i use to flash my hitachi 79fl, is it one of them?



Also when loading an x360 game sometimes a blade slides from the right asking me whether i want to update. if ive flashed my drive with hacked firmware, should i deny it or accept it?

also if i play an original x360 game on live is there a chance that M$ will know?

at this momemt no1 knows what the status of the update will bring for modded consoles "if anything".. we really won't know until it is rolled out.
& also there's no real answer as to when modded boxes are actually detected & added to the drop list - so.... flashing backwards & forwards is not a guaranteed method to be beat the ban hammer.

As for the 79 firmware... it's included within the latest version of >> firmware toolbox

regarding game updates.. this is normal // accept them

your gamertag is fine.
thet just ban your console.

on the hit drives you need to do a restore before you update to a new firmware .
so running the restore just to get it back to stock is fine.
