Help please

man at this point im not sure what firmware you have in it.
open the firmware in firmware toolbox and see what firmware you have in it.
open the "cfw" that is in your backup folder.

you need to have the v1.4 firmware in the dvd drive.
next time if it has the v1.1 in it.


put it together and see if it will play a orig game.

I think everything is all right I looked the two different backups that I had. The one from 1st which I did back shows one shows no ixtreme firmware and other file show V1.1A. The second one which I did the flash only shows one file as 1.1A and then the second file as 1.41-12. When I put in a original DVD game just now it plays fine. So what is the verdict do I still have to do something?

well
i would dump the drive
just to make sure what firmware is in it.

after you dump it open the "ofw" that will be the one that just came out of your drive.
if its not v1.41 then you need to flash v1.41 in.

it will not hurt any thing to build a new flash with v1.41 firmware and dump/flash the drive again.
then you will know its the right v1.41 firmware.

you dont need to use it till you know its got v1.41 firmware in the dvd drive.

I looked at the OFW file and it said 1.1A so I went ahead and redid the full process and then went back and did another dump to see what the OFW file read now and it reads 1.41-12 so I assume everything is like it is supposed to be is that true?

that right.
you are looking at just the firmware or did you look at the key also.

if you have put it back together and it will play a orig game and backup then you are good to go.

The key is the same and the ofw states 1.41-12. Then I put in a back up of Golden Axe which I was just trying and it came back and said something like console needs update to play this game so I told it ok. I felt this wouldn't be a problem since I'm not on the internet with it. It did it's thing and then attempted to load game and came back with error disk unreadable. I then put in a orginal disk and it comes up with no problem. Can you tell me what is going on? Is there something wrong with the backup came or something else wrong? I just asking in hopes that you may know. I downloaded the game and burned from ISO in magic ISO. Any help is most definately appreciated and I thank you for all the help you have given to me at this point CoFree I just need a little more patience.

this is the last time ill tell you that.you can't even talk about downloading a game on the site.you must chose your works right.

if it took the game disc update.then i would say your are close to having it done.
being that a orig game plays that is also good.

here is a guide on making a BACKUP game.dont use magic iso.you will be using img burn.you can find it in the programs thread.
