Help Spoofing Ben-q To Toshiba-samsung

OK I have currently a modified toshiba in my 360. My friend has a new benq modified but his 360 broke, some video problem and he gave me his drive. My drive the toshiba keeps giving me unplayable disc errors and freezes. Its not the games cause they play perfect on my brothers. I was wondering if i can take that benq and spoof it to think its a toshiba so it can run on my console. There both modified and i dont have the original firmware just the modified ones. Can I still spoof them and how would i go about doing it! Any help would be great. Thanks alot steven
