A little help flashing my BenQ please....stuck on 0x7f

the 3 choices i get in iprep for ide ctrlers are
1 Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller
2 Intel(R) ICH8 4 Port Serial ATA Storage Controller - 2820
3 Intel(R) ICH8 2 Port Serial ATA Storage Controller - 2825

these ring up Green and say MTK Flash and DosFlash compatible..... the rest are red... so between these three witch do i pic?

You shouldn't be switching to the ide controller. Leave that button alone. If you choose one of those options you are nullifying the sata choice you just made. just enter your sata card and the make the bootable flash.

hahahahahahaHAHAHAHA!!!!!! IM AN IDIOT..... i think i read in one of the first tuts i read that after selecting the card you gota hit switch to ide then load it..... and thats what iv been doing ever since...... it just dumped... thanks a lot guys for for being an idiot... lol....

now for a silly question ... where did it dump to? and how do i check with toolbox? thx

If you used iprep, it will be in the /BACKUPS/7digitserial/5digitserial/ folder on your iprep boot device. There will be two files, one named SAM-OFW.bin which is your original firmware and the other SAM-CFW.bin, this is your hacked firmware.

Take those folders from the flash drive and just copy them to a folder in your computer that you can go back to if you need them at a later date. To do the fw toolbox check look at this tut. viewtopic.php?f=110&t=349
