new flash on live
new flash on live
ok so i got banned the other day and im sorry if this has been covered but im must be blind but i just brought a new 360 and thinking of flashing ifr i do and connect to live am i going to get a ban straight away or will i be fine if my back ups are good ? any help or advise would be good
Re: new flash on live
No body can really answer that question because if you flash it, you take the risk. Although if its a new machine, you shouldn't be banned right away.

obviously at least 1 of your backups are bad! thats why you have been banned!!
if you flash a new system you are going to need to mullet check or abgx360 check every disc before use - anything that gives bad results wants to go in the bin.

Re: new flash on live
ok thanks also as you say one or more of my back ups are bad so how can 1005 check that there ok i have progs but im missing something ?
Re: new flash on live
u can check the discs aswell as images with both programsskitz wrote:ok thanks also as you say one or more of my back ups are bad so how can 1005 check that there ok i have progs but im missing something ?

in mulleter just choose the option: view iso details > load from DVDR
in abgx360 choose the option: input > DVD drive
obviously u can't fix a disc once it's been burnt.. but u can at least validate it

Re: new flash on live

Re: new flash on live
yes.. u should check the iso before you burn it (this way u can fix it if it has errors / identify problems)..cyantific wrote:LOL I've been ripping my backups and then checking the .ISOMsK wrote:u can check the discs aswell as images with both programsskitz wrote:ok thanks also as you say one or more of my back ups are bad so how can 1005 check that there ok i have progs but im missing something ?

- but u can check discs aswell

Obviously as I already stated - there's nothing you can do to fix it after it has been burnt but you can validate it

The best option is check the ISO before burning.. for the xtra careful you can check the disc afterwards also
& for those that skip the check phase alltogether & are scratching there heads as to why they are banned then they really should go through there discs & validate everything - anything that fails should be thrown away

Re: new flash on live
ok lol cool so in abgx360 how will i know if anything is wrong im running it now on a disc see what happens it was ok in mulleter but want to check them all find the source cd that got me banned lol
Re: new flash on live
Yeah, they both use an online database if you do a complete check. abgx is available in our download section. When you run the check, a dos window will open and you'll see the verbose results of the check. You'll know if something isn't right.
