asking some iformation

I am thinking about having a friend put this stuff on my xbox. But his first thing he said that no more xbox live. I do play xbox live though and like it alot. But he also said i can download games to the hard-drive and save them. Could i get a little more background on this stuff thanks!

we dont talk about down loading game here
making a backup of a orig game is one thing downloading games is different all together.

But his first thing he said that no more xbox live

well yes and no.
if you play down loaded game on live you can bet it will get you banned sooner than later.
even playing a backuped game runs some risk of getting banned.

But he also said i can download games to the hard-drive and save them

you can not do that yet.It is not part of a mod
that is going to be part of the fall update the "nxe" that comes out on the 19th.

I ment back up my games. I ment not downloading to the hard drive. Sorry just really new to this.

I cannot open that download because it is an RAR file and i do not have a reader that will read the file.

well then
that is the first thing to learn.
here is a program that will unrar that file get the
program "7-zip"

after it is installed right click the file then select 7-zip then extract to it will put it in a nice folder
you may want to put it on the desktop so you can find it.

now if you dont have the program
adobe reader 9 will be the program that will let you look/read the unrared file.

Ok so i finally had time to open the file. Not to be mean the whole this i saw on a page is exactly what your going

after you unzipped it did you open it with reader 9
