New FW for BenQ drive (iXtreme 1.4)
I know this is redundant but I want to do this right. The new FW is out and I want to reflash my BenQ drive to 1.4. Can someone guide me step by step on how to do this. I know that Cofree mention about putting up a guide for this which would be great. Thanks for all your help.

BUT
you dont need it
open iprep click the tools tad there will be a "check for updates" click it.it will update your def file.

Thanks for your hard work Cofree. Is the guide under the tutorial page?
Re: New FW for BenQ drive (iXtreme 1.4)
yes but you dont need it .iprep will do a update itself.open iprep go to "tools" then click check for updates.it will get the new def file and put where it needs to go.

OK, so this is for updating the def file in IPREP. How about flashing the BenQ drive with the new firmware? Do I just follow the guide on flashing the BenQ drive and load this new firmware? I am kind of puzzle on the reflashing part.

yep
you do the same thing as the first time.input the new firmware you want when you are building iprep.
do the dump then the flash.just like the first time.

One more question. After you do the dump, we don't care about the backup file this time right . All we want care about is the original firmware that we saved the first time, correct.
