man
on the v25 you could be looking a laser that is getting weak.
if it doing it on orig games for sure.

as long as you know your backups are right you could try the pot tweak.
have a read.

you may try to try your backup on a different console to see how they are working. ;)

well i had a v25 that would stick.
i would hit the eject quickly thump the dvd drive tray and it would open fine. :D
if you have a v25 xtra.
then you would just need to flash in the hacked firmware "cfw" that you should have if you did it with iprep.
make sure it has the right key in it.

if you have a drive that is the same as the one in the console you do not need to spoof.

if the extra dvd drive you have is a different kind of drive then it got a lot harder you have to spoof the firmware.
its not that hard but there are more steps.

Stick with the 12x. It will be the closest to the orig. fw. The other settings will slow your disc read times down, so you will be sacrificing load speed to get the drive a little quieter.

I saw you flashed at 8x, you should do 12x and it should work for you. I did 8x one time and Halo 3 would hardly load, it'd take 1-2 minutes to get past the booting screen.
