spoof my Hitachi 79fl with a Samsung ms25 drive

I am trying to spoof my Hitachi 79fl with a Samsung ms25 drive.
I am using windows xp sp3.
I am following this tutorial - viewtopic.php?f=110&t=881" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I have my Hitachi orig.bin extracted and I copy the key to the Samsung orig.bin, save key then spoof it to Hitachi 079.
Then I take that Samsung orig.bin, place it into the Samsung 12x folder and click the "Make iXtreme firmware.cmd"
it says:-

The system cannot execute the specified program.

it creates a file called ix14.bin but when i look at it with Firmware toolbox 4.8 the keys ffffffffffffffffffffffff

I know both firmware dumps were good an they have been used before to flash their original drives.
where am I going wrong and how can I fix it?

try doing the spoof after you have made the sam fw ixtreme...

it looks like you're doing all the right things, just try them in a slightly different order and see if you can get it...

as long as you have working keys from each drive there's no problem, even if you get it wrong first time round

Thanks for the reply, I forgot to mention that I tried that to just to. it didn't work on the Samsung orig.bin and for shits an giggles i tried to the same process to the Benq orig.bin with the same results. All ixtreme fw and programs I have I get off of xbins only. I am wondering if there is something about my computer that is blocking the 'Make iXtreme firmware.cmd' app from working.

I would re-download it or try it on a different computer. It should work fine, at least it does for me anyway.

Problem solved, you need to run the "Make iXtreme firmware.cmd"" off the C: drive. I feel stupid now.
