BenQ flashing

I am having trouble flashing my benQ drive and was wondering if anyone could provide some help. I have a blaster 360 NE and connecting it to my PC via the onboard sata. When I boot up the flash drive with the firmware ixtreme 1.4.1 or 1.5 ( i've tried them both), I get to the point were I need to plug in the 360 and the software is freezing on status 0xff. I've tried a friend's PC and well as other ports and get the same response. Any suggestions?

What is the chipset of the sata ports. I think that via chipset is the best to use. I had to order a VIA PCI card something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/VIA-3-SATA-Serial-A ... 7C294%3A50" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

What does Device manager say about your SATA controller, what chipset?? I presume it will be ICHx...

I had problems flashing benq from Intel chipsets (if that's what yours is), seemed to get stuck at 01/51 with iprep

As cofree says, go for the card, it makes things much easier
