Problem with flashing xBox360

Hi Community,

I'm in trouble now i write down what i use and what for Drive i've got:

use:
- iPrep 101 v008.6 (v006 doesn't work maybe i use Vista) + iXtreme 1.5
- usb and floppy
- got a Samsung Ts-H943 drive ms28
- windows vista 32-bit ver.

so my problem:
I start IPrep put all three firmware search my sata controller ( don't know the name i pick nivida because i've got a nivida mainboard XFX MB-N790-IUL9) all other controller got a port number but my nivida got only N/A,target is ok use usb port, start the Iprep. Everything is ok after copy. Shut down Pc.Start load from the Usb now and the firmware start : 1. write : dSam 1234567 12345 <- e.g. ,2. then R for read ,3. now there is the list where i see my Drive with the nummber there a question with Y/N (Turn of my box same like in the video from cofree1234) after this part everything is ok but after reading bank 0 1 2 3 .., there's a mistake ''No valid Key found''
Where i get this Key???

First of all, has the drive been dumped/flashed before?? It's odd that there's no key found if that's the first time you've tried to read it. If it is the first time you've tried it, then I certainly wouldn't try flashing til you know you have a good key...

You said your motherboard was nForce... Use only the primary port (as that's what iprep uses when it sets the usb stick up), and if you can find it in your BIOS, set sata mode to SATA (it's normally set to AHCI)...

Personally I use Dosflash for Samsungs, it's worth a try if you can't get anything with iprep

Most all of Klutsh stuff work best with that chipset.

for the benq and sam dvd drive the card is important.

1. no it hasn't flashed before
2. yes that was the first time, that it works! Are u sure that i have to tried it more than 1 time? because i read when the key can't be find that my xbox doesn't work

well if the 360 doesn't play any games then yes, there isn't a key there...

If you can play originals (which shouldn't be a problem if have only tried dumping) then you still have a key, and the problem is your pc (SATA controller) isn't connecting to the drive correctly.

As cofree says, go for the VIA card. Most people end up wasting many hours trying to flash from onboard, a few get lucky...

well, so i asked my dad, i'm only the writer^^
i ask him if the drive able to play original he said: no, the games doesn't work before we start to flashing. could be that the Su**** who sold the drive ''destroy'' the key? , because the part with reading the drive was ok (dSam) but at the point after reading bank 0 , 1... it doesn't work

look in the backup folder there will be the 2 folders that are named your ser number in the last one there will be some file .
open the one named " sam-ofw" with firmware toolbox 4.8 ("360FW-Toolbox-48.rar")
you will find that here.

see what the key looks like.
if it all the same letter or number then you have a bad key and from the sound of it
some one did you wrong.

if its a lot of different letters and number then the key should be good and there was a problem with the flash or building on the hacked firmware.

If the key is good.
open the the "sam-cfw" and see what the key looks like in it.
they should be the same.

the info will be on the flash drive that you made with iprep
dont format that drive

JACKPOT: both files the sam-ofw.bin and sam-cfw.bin got the number 77777777777777 and FFFFFFFFFFFF

so the drive is unflashable?

i've still the original drive from xbox 360 but it's a lite-on drive i saw many tutorial that i have to solder the drive platine

#edit: I read that i have to check the key from the lite-on drive to flashing my samsung is this right? how i can check my key from the lite-on?

well that is just a blank key.

you would have to spoof the v28 you have in to the console.
if your console has a lite-on dvd drive.
you need to get the 3 files you need from the lite-on then spoof that info into the v28 dvd drive.
i hope to have a video up soon on how to do this.
