HI GUYS IS IT POSSIBLE TO PUT A BIGGER HDD IN MY XBOX 360 I HAVE JUST THE STANDARD ONE IN THER WANT TO PUT A 120 GB OR LARGER IFF POSS IF SO ANY IDEA HOW OR WHERE TO START I HAVE A CONNECTIVITY KIT AND HAVE MADE BACK UP OF PARTITION 3 CONTENT ONTO PC BUT CONFUSED ABOUT THE REST HELP HELP KINDEST REGARDS STU

as far as i know
you can do it.
but
you would need a file from a 360 120gb HD. and a specific hard drive for it to work.
sadalius can offer a lot more on this.

of course if you want to use a xbox orig store bought 120 is easy to make the change
but
im assuming that is not what you want

I actually had the link to a 1TB drive I just purchased by mistake. It's pointing to the Scorpio drive now that I used for my 360. Sorry 'bout that.

Sorry I didn't reply to this earlier. Like cyantific says, you need a 120 GB western digital scorpio drive, and the hddss.bin from an original xbox 360 120 GB hdd. 120 GB is as large as you can go, at least until MS comes out with a larger hdd, if they are going to. Plus you need the software to flash the hdss.bin to the scorpio drive.

Comon Xbox come out with a 500gig drive. I hope anyway. Maybe we will get lucky and some 14 year old kid in a 3rd world country will compose compatability software that will work on all 2.5" drives.
