Re: flashing v59dj help
hey man need more info on exactly how you are trying to flash your drive.
Re: flashing v59dj help
If slax won't put it into mode b use one of the v1 connectivity kits like xeno connect kit.

Re: flashing v59dj help
what version of slax are you using?
When you try slax, try turning the drive on before you boot it. Put a game in there as well, you'll know if it's worked cause slax will display something about disk spinning, at which point you eject the disc (from the 360 drive). It's wierd, I get an error mesage, something about sata timing out, but it still puts the drive into mode b...
Try the other version of slax if you haven't already. Other than that, I'd go for a connectivity kit. I don't know if the mode b command from xtractor works with the older ones, but it worked with my v78 first time. The might be worth a try.

Re: flashing v59dj help
you will have to purchase xeno connectivity kit which puts your drive into mode b
Re: flashing v59dj help
2.0 or 2.1??
Try xtractor and jungleflasheras well, they both have modeb options...
If you can't get those to work, it might be something with your sata. Have you flashed any drives from it before, and what sata are you using??

Re: flashing v59dj help
dont hook the sata up till the windowo=s loading bar starts on your computer screen
then hook it up and open/close the drive tray 4 or 5 times.

Re: flashing v59dj help
opening/closing the drive is the key here...
You should see the blue loading bar slow down or stop a bit when you try opening the drive. The theory is XP picks the drive up here.
