cant detect samsung drive

Hey, im having a problem detecting my samsung drive.

im using iprep8.8 and an VIA VT6421 SATA controller. i followed the video guide, and unplugged all other sata devices, but my samsung isnt showing up in port list.

can anyone help me, i tried searching, but didnt find anything :(

when you set up iprep
you made sure your via card was in the controller drop down right.

it will not show till you boot in dos and it should list it
at 6:38 in the video you can see that i point out the 360 drives is in the list.

with the new iprep you will name it what it tells you its different than the 8.6

mine doesnt show at first with iprep ,dosflash part
i have to say no to mtk twice then its shown my drive number 8
on some computers it shows all drives straight away some you have to click no to sent mtk
it might not be your problem but worth a try :)

I have the via card selected when setting up iprep.

but mine doesnt show in the list, like it does in your video.

well, i cant say no to mtk, unless i select a drive, right? but it doesnt the xbox drive.

if its not listed in iprep.
go into your device manger and make sure it working good there.

The via card is showing up in irprep..
it was installed correctly, and its showing up in device manager. but it just wont see my samsung drive in dos

try plugging a hdd in to see if the card is working...

does it show any ports in dos at all ?
mine only shows one of my onboard sata ports then when chhosing no it shows the sev=cond port then when choosing no again it shows all of them about 9 or 10

That doesn't mean that the sata card is working correctly... try it with a PC sata drive, see what happens
