Help with RROD

Alright so here comes another friend of mine thinking I am able to fix anything...so he comes give me his xbox with the RROD. I never fixed a RROD xbox 360 before so why not I gave it a try. I tried whats popular nowadays, which is the X-Clamp trick. After I finished, tried to heat it up, till its 2 lights, then turn it off and wait for it too cool off. When I turned it on, I still have the RROD, so I check the error code its 0103, which is supposedly a cold solder joint? How do I fix that?

how did you heat up the cpu/gpu after you did the xclamp

Did you check the error code before you tried the fix?

The first thing I would suggest would be to back the screws/bolts off a bit, make sure they're not too tight...

I only do mine up with my fingers, as tight as I can go. If you're using screws, loosen them off half a turn, see if makes a difference.
