stuck on writing bank 1 with benQ :(

omg like im gonna cry lol i have my original bin because i did the command dben then my serial then it dumped it succesfully. then i went back into windows made backups of my bin for safe keeping and then i went back into dos and entered the command fben and the serial and first it erases then it asks to turn off the drive and press enter and it hangs at writing bank 1 i need help sooooo bad

ok so i take it the drive is dead,it want play orig or back and gives you a error when it is turned on.

don't panic (yet)

if that is the case then the first thing you have to do it get it back orig firmware.
i hope that back up firmware you got is good.

1 open the firmware you backed up in firmware toolbox v4.5

and make sure the key looks good.as long as it looks good then go to number 2

2 you have to flash back to the orig follow this guide.

omg you wont guess how i got it to flash... you know how it says to turn it back off after it erases the drive i left it on and pressed enter and it wrote all the banks and im now playing my backups i was souped but i dont understand why it tells you to turn off your 360 then to press enter and turn it back on what i did as i said is i left it on then pressed enter then everything went smooth tested it out with a call of duty 4 backup and is perfect thanks again cofree that sata card you recomended worked flawlessly your help was very appreciative. happy holidays

the reason it would work is it stayed in debug mode after the erase .
why it would do that is best guess

make sure to keep a that orig firmware from your 360

yea i have it backed up in my ipod in 3 different folders my dads laptop i emailed it to me my bros ipod and my comp and the usb lmao im making sure its safe and also im going right down the drive key on paper just incase thanks again cofree

I guess I'm just old school or something, but I just use the dosflash commands each time a flash a benq instead of the iprep commands. I never cycle the drive between erase and writing the hacked firmware. It's always worked for me this way so I don't try to fix it
