Lite-on problem when flashing via iprep 8.8

Post by roddyrex »

OK, I have a Via card which I've flashed other 360's with and the ck3 lite w/probe. I extracted the key no problem but I would also like to check the key backup if I could but I'm not sure how to check it because toolbox 4.8 says the bin files are invalid or something. Anyways the computer hung when writing bank0... Do I need an updated driver for my sata card or what??

Thanks for the reply..

did you get all the files or just the key
before you flash you need all three and the dummy file.
like in the video.
but
dont6 lose that key

what does it do if you try to dump it again.

How did you extract the key with iprep

I tried countless times and failed to get the key.

I have the CK3 and proble and i eject the tray and push it in half way, place te probe on the 707.
run the command to read the drive, i followed the on-screen steps and it always skips the read step...

but if i use JF i can get the key, but my PC's CPU spikes to 99%, i dont trust that read.

should i just bridge the 707 to dump?

thank you.

yeap, just bridge the 707 point with a small flathead screwdriver, that's the way i've done it and it's worked everytime. with iprep you'll need to have the com port hooked up as well for it to read the key and all that and then you should be good to go

you need to open /close the drive tray before you do any thing
like in the video.
dont wait till you get where it tells you to open/close.

Thanks for the reply, these are the files in the BACKUPS folder dummy.bin, identify.bin, inquiry.bin, key.bin, and litcfw.bin. I was able to get the drive flashed after rebooting and trying it again, kind of weird but whatever it worked. anyways I was looking for a program that could read the key from the bin file because toolbox won't work for the lite-on files.

try jungle flasher
firmware tool 32 tab
