hitachi version 47 problem

Post by neo2k9 »

I am moding a hitachi 47 and using ixtreme 1.4. I have it hooked up through my on board sata not via chip set. I put it in mode B and flashed it with flash IX. It flashed just as the tutorial said it would but, when I hooked it up it would not play a back up. Can anyone help me please...

What brand of disc? What speed did you burn it at? Did you properly make the backup with a Kreon drive?

Does your 360 play original games or does it only play movie DVDs?

I use verbatim to burn the games. I modded at 12x and I burn games at 4x. yes I have a keron drive and that's what I use. It will play originals and dvd's just not the backups. I modded everything the way it said and got the same results the tutorial got as I said just will not play backups.

Have you tried different media (although verbs are the most compatiable there have been reports of the Mii ones not being as good) I normally burn games at 2.4x. Is your burner capable of bitsetting? (nearly all newer ones are but you would normally get a "please insert a 360 disc" message if it wasn't) If its a bad flash you can normally only play dvd films so that might rule that out but it might still be worth a reflash.

Yes I use other media as well. The games work with the other ones I modded. This is the first one I have had trouble with. I restored and reflashed samething. any other ideas.

cofrees right. Some of them drives are collecting their pensions now :P

They're the least reliable of all the drives, the older hits are. I would try some different media, just to see what happens. After that, time to get an MS-28 :P

Ebay or one of the retailers in viewtopic.php?f=184&t=3091" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; may carry them in stock. You can spoof it onto any drive.

the pot tweak worked great for my hit 78 set it from 4.07 to 3.09 and it now plays fine.
