yah try it before you resend the command to your drive.... I would try it at a few different times, see if it makes a difference...

If you flashed it before, you should be able to access it again :P

I'm sure it's on xbins, but you can find it here as well.

Right, go right back to the beginning...

Let me know your setup, OS and all the steps you took when you first did the dump/flash. You said your key was ok in FWToolbox?

Can you see the drive at all in iprep?

As long as you have a backup of the key from the drive, you'll be able to sort it with or without that drive. For some reason, it sounds like the drive is dead, but I know sadalius managed to bring one back that he thought was dead. The difference was though, he could get the drive to open.

yep, you need the drive to be half open/closed. the easiest way to do this is with a connectivity kit v2/3

Are you using a VIA card, or are you trying from your mobo?

I think the only difference is that the firmguard is active now it has been flashed, even though the fw reports the drive as a 25...

You can try the 10 sec/bad flash method, the 0800 disc can have the same effect. I personally use Dosflash 32 for Sammy's though... If you want to try that, there's a few pointers here
