Re: Jungle flasher or Iprep
ooooh I need real help here folks it's gone boob boo big style
I copied your video cofree to my handycam so as to follow it step by step and got to the part where you said (to save a copy of the back-up folder with the keys in it) and I turned off power to the connectivity kit then the pc i DID NOT SHUT THE DRIVE TRAY JUST LEFT IT 3 QTRS CLOSED - opend pc as normal saved backups folder keys then turned off pc disconected sata cable booted back into iprep v 8.8 with my flash drive pen plugged back in sata cable powerd on the ck3 pro kit it then went straight to the part where it said type flit so I went all the way through and all banks stated from 1-4 o.k so I turned off the kit then powerd dwn the pc put the 360 Liteon drive back in the 360 and it would not open the tray and the green led light constantly flashing
So I downloaded iprep v.0.0.5 as you have cofree from xbins and when I took away all the files you took out of the iprep on the stick you seem to have two more files then what I was left with before I even got to the jungleflasher dos file that you said copy all contents from an paste into iprep and then I put in the lite.cfw.bin and I am getting no-where and don't know what files I should be left with now I had at one stage... now get this I booted up with the trusty flash drive pen and even had windows 98 logo showing on the screen (it's a brand new pc an hard drive and the only os it has had an got is windows xp pro !!!) ... I have never come across a drive as bad as these ever - and in the recovery video my mate said the way you flash after the flash drive pen has been prepared as you did he never has any faults flashing just using that method he just reads the keys first then gose onto to flash that way
I am at a total loss and to be honest sick to the back teeth of these s**t Liteon drives I have never had this from any other drive in all the 3 years I have done the many diffrent types of drives - an when I was told to put the ixtreme 1.5 definitions into the resource folder of iprep 8.8 the 1.5 ixtreme firmware would not load at all into iprep ....jesus wept apart from being electricuted to death from the 360 it's as bad and such a mass mess then you will ever come across from a member (

Re: Jungle flasher or Iprep
in the backup folder you have a copy of
is the files all there
including a "litcfw.bin" file
and the 4 other ones.
did you see firmtool run and build your hacked firmware before you powered down

Re: Jungle flasher or Iprep
right here's the up-date to my situation whilst trying to flash the drive using jungleflasher at the point of flash verifitcation test the write verify failed on the last bank.
on the recovery with dos and flash it went well until the part where you have to get to the stage where you type in the port number an the only way I got it to show was by hitting the esc key - then when I had done all as instructed I inserted the drive back to the 360 and the message on the 360 screen was (open tray) and when I put a game in it just did not start to read an original nor backup.
so I think the drive is dead as a door mouse under a bus - and here is where I think the fault began - when I first tried to flash the drive with iprep 8.8 it was from the stage where after reading the keys and turning the connectivity kit off an leaving the tray open then powering off the pc an on to get the keys from the flash drive pen it was at that stage where things went wronge
as there is no tutorial to explaine if you shut your drive tray before cuttting power to the ck3 kit or unpluging sata cable first at this point I am blind as to what to do - an to be honest I would still be blind if I just used jungleflasher to get the keys first before trying iprep to flash because you still have to power of the kit and the pc to go to dos to set boot settings to boot up from the flash drive pen - anyone tell me exactly what they did please

Re: Jungle flasher or Iprep
the 360 boots fine into the screen - disc tray ejects an closes - put in any original or back-up and it just starts a slight spin and stops then it tell's me to (open tray) an that's it
what I did discover was because I had a Liton from a past flash failure an I thought that if the erase went ahead on that then the chip must be blank so I tried iprep with the keys left in from the drive we are trying to sort out and this spare flashed perfectly with a diffrent drives keys with iprep !
but as you can see from the copy an paste read out file of jungle flasher the drive I was trying to flash just did what I have explained in paragrath 1 of this reply the strange thing is when it gets to the stage where it flash's the 4 banks all said o.k with iprep yet jungleflasher at the end stated write verifey failed on the last bank ???

the first line lets you know that is the ix1.5 firmware that does not have a good key.
i looked over this it had a good key i just edited the post so it would not be up for all to see.
