WxRipper, why it's bad.

Frankly, I'm sick of reading new posts regarding WxRipper.

You should NOT use this program to backup your games. Here is the reason.

The goal of backing up games is to get as close to the original as possible. WxRipper is not going to do this for you.

WxRipper CANNOT extract the "stealth" files (SS,PFI,DMI, etc.) from an original xbox360 dvd.

You will have a jacked up iso that needs to be "fixed" with files from a database whose legitimacy is questionable to me.

On the other hand;
If you if you use a 162/163 flashed with Kreon fw or 360 Samsung or BenQ flashed with 0800 fw and dump your game with XBC or S360X, the dumped iso will contain all of the stealth files.

Check that it dumped the steath files (always does for me) and check for BadKreonRip/Bad Angle.

That is all a good point man.
but
There are the few that never have/will get on live and with them it just don't matter how they get the iso.
the cheaper the better.

If you do get a backup with hotswap.
Most of us are convinced that the console logs the fact it has play a bad iso and you will be banned the first time you every get on live.

ive never tried hotswap but i wouldnt even want to try it... BenQ 0800 works like a charm

I'vé tried it and made a few backups that way, but that was way before stealth files were even known about. It was a headache then and even more so now. Nothing like a good Kreon drive or an 0800 enabled drive compared to the old obsolete wxripper thats for sure.
