Attention: New Wave 3 Video Partition

These guys are crazy smart, im actually stunned.

It's been reported that these new games have the NXE update crammed into one of the video partitions and that is what is making it not match wave 1 or 2 and causing ixtreme not to boot it. But with 1.51 due out anytime now and 1.6 coming soon, that will be put to rest pretty soon.

dose anyone know if there will be a new iprep & xdvds mulleter to accomadate new firmware and the files that are messed up/missing or that might need repair a new on mulleter ???? .... just wondering around in the big Forest lol

There will more than likely be an update to iprep, a simple ixdef.xml file will fix it up, but I would say a new version of jungleflasher would be in order for that. But I'm not really 100% sure as all you do is select the firmware as the target so it maybe setup to accept any firmware as a target that carries the ixtreme header or something. We'll just have to wait and see.

hope its iprep cos jungleflasher has never worked for me all i use it for is to read the keys before I use iprep - thanks for the reply.

This would imply that if the drive already has an ixtreme firmware on it, then the new version of jungle has something added to dump the key (if you've lost the original etc) without the need for a ck3?

well it will still be needed to power the drive

You are correct, it won't require a ttl converter, but it will still need a power source, either the 360 or a connectivity kit of some kind and it has to have been flashed with IX 1.5 already.

Yeah should make it easier for non-ck3 owners who maybe paid to get their 360 flashed updated. Hopefully they'll solve the Via problems too then i might get round to giving it a go. Still no word on the 1.51 release on the forums.

Yeah, I'vé been trying to keep track of it, but the talk has gone kind of cold for a little while. Plus, now that I'm at work, they have IRC blocked, so it's almost like I'm cut off from the world, LOL!!

ok first off all i cant give you guys proof of this cause i am not going to reveal my source at all so dont ask me lol. chatting with a member of the ABGX team and confirmed 1.51 is complete but its being put thru the paces to ensure quality is acheieved and there are no issues, so please do not be impatient as im sure we all want this to go smoothly. estimated ETA i was told could be this friday if all goes well. this is for 1.51 not 1.6, but 1.6 is not required unless you are interested in the 0800 support.

Also a new version of ABGX will be on the way also but i have no other info on that as of right now.

So be patient and dont risk hacking game iso to play something early cause the odds of being banned are extremely high when doing such things.

This may not be the place to ask this, but the last couple of post mentioned the ck3 device. That is for the liteon drives correct, and then that will mean no need for special equipment to enhance the drive? Except if you want the connectivity kit right?
