CoFree Will You Make A New Tutorial?

can you please make a new tutorial for the new firmware for the lite on?

what for man? Just do the following:
go to xbins and from the hacked firmware folder look up for lite-on firmware file version 1.51 Final and download it.
Then find ixDef file 1.51 and download it. It will be in zip format. Go ahead and unzip it. Copy it and go to your iPrep's installation folder on your hard drive and find the "Resources" subfolder. Enter the this subfolder and then paste the ixDef file. Hit replace if windows asks you if you want to replace it. Once it's done, start iPrep. Load up the lite-on 1.51_final firmware final and make the bootable. Then proceed with the dump and flash as shown in the video tutorial by CoFree.

Why do you need to the following step

I never did that step with any of my 360 drives but they all work fine.. Whats gna happen :O And what does that step do??

did you recently flash the drives with the new 1.51 firmware?

the definitions allow for the new firmware to work with iPrep 8.8 when you flash it to the drive

nah, i have not done any 1.51 upgrades yet. All my xbox are on 1.5 i think im gna wait for i.x 1.6 tho instead of 1.51... So really all that thing does is lets you load the firmware in iprep?

Ohhh. but i never done this to load i.x 1.5 but it still loaded and is now flashed and works on live. IS everythin ok then? and i wont get banned ect. i know i probly cant and its a noob question but still, i got a little worried for a sec lol. Ive download a file and put it into the resources folder in iprep so that will let me load i.x 1.51 is that the same thing? Thanks CoFree. This website is amazing..

as long as you got the def file sadalius made and put it in the right place
iprep will load the new v1.51 firmware now.

thanks everyone for all of yall help! im just the kind of person that triple checks everything just to make sure its done right because I don't want to mess up anything. I had my xbox 360 flash from someone else with 1.5, so when I flash it I won't need to use the spear right?

Instead of making another topic, I figured I would just post my question here.

Do you still need to do the whole process with the Probe if you're using iPrep and upgrading a liteon from 1.5 to 1.51? Thanks.

cofree is recommending that we use jungleflasher to flash the lite-ons, for whatever reason iPrep is acting up during the flash process for lite-ons, right around the time you have to dump the information

you will need to use jungle to update from v1.5 tov1.51
iprep is having trouble with the update

oh, good to know. Isn't JF having problems with VIA chipsets though?
