Problem with XBC,read errors
I've been trying to backup Crackdown with XBC 2.8.0.275 and it comes up with read errors around 40%.I've tried filling all sectors with zeros but it keeps repeating with a different sector.I use a Sh-D163B drve with 1.0.I've had read errors before but never one after another an soforth.Read speed was also set to 2x with no luck, any ideas?

Is it always around 40%? If so it sounds like you have a dirty disc. Try cleaning it really well. Obviously a soft cloth and do not use any liquids. The only liquid that should ever touch a disc is distilled water. If it still doesn't work after that, try cleaning your drive.

Yep sounds like a scratched up disc to me.

Re: Problem with XBC,read errors
it has to be the disc
your dvd drive will not sto at the snae place in the disc.
clean the disc well
that game will back up.
